Giovanni Verga Square is one of the most important squares in Catania. The Catania Court is located there, just a few meters away from our B&B. It can be considered as the point in the city with the highest concentration of financial and judicial offices, legal and notary studies. From Verga Square, Corso Italia unfolds, which is the shopping street of Catania par excellence, until it reaches the sea of Piazza Europa. In Verga Square, it is also possible to admire the famous monumental fountain of "I Malavoglia", by the sculptor Carmelo Mendola, which includes an artistic sculpture group that stylizedly interprets an episode of the famous Verghian work.
