The B&B La Lavanda del Borgo, managed by Paolo and Cristina, is a typical example of local architecture, characterized by the natural white color of the stone. The property has two rooms with separate entrances. One spacious room with a double bed and another room with two single beds, both with exclusive bathrooms. Located at the foot of Monte Conero, on the outskirts of Borgo San Lorenzo (Sirolo), along the road that leads to the ancient springs that fed the Roman aqueduct (Capo D'Acqua) and winds through the slopes of Monte Colombo hill. This place, rich in ancient traditions, offers many amenities and is immersed in the lush vegetation of the Conero Regional Park. The Borgo is an ancient rural settlement in Sirolo, 1 km (5-10 minutes walk) from the medieval center of the village and its beautiful beaches. Originally, Borgo San Lorenzo was built by the families of workers from the Conero stone quarries. The houses were built with this material, giving them a unique appearance. In recent years, the original settlement has undergone significant development, including a supermarket, a bazaar, a rotisserie, and a restaurant-wine bar. As for transportation, there is a bus stop for Ancona (Ferrovie dello Stato), Numana, Porto Recanati and a shuttle to the beaches of Sirolo, Urbani, and San Michele. Guests are welcomed by the owners with courtesy and familiarity and are delighted with a breakfast based on local and genuine products, offering various options. The lavender plant (lavandula) is very common in the extensive garden, thanks to its natural characteristics that allow for constant and simple growth.
