"The Tower in the Village" is an ancient 16th-century tower located in the historic center of our charming village, Borgagne, in Salento, just 4 km from the Adriatic coast. The restoration of this tower has not been an easy task, considering the socio-economic context that often fails to recognize the importance of our history and the preservation of our heritage. "The Tower in the Village" represents a small challenge against the occasional ugliness that can be found in our territory; it represents the desire to restore rather than build anew and embodies the idea of economic development based on our historical and cultural heritage. It is important for us to educate ourselves about beauty, and "The Tower in the Village" serves as a valuable lesson: we can all contribute to change in our own way! Today, just over two years since the opening of our B&B, we are proud to be recommended by the authors of the famous Lonely Planet guide.
