Nona Giò Inn is managed by Jasmeen and Giuseppe starting from June 2023. We met in Copenhagen, where he worked as a chef and I as a pastry chef, specializing in the technique of leavening with sourdough. After a few years abroad, we returned to Italy and chose to offer our customers a unique culinary experience, with a menu that varies based on the seasonality and availability of local products.
The inn has two newly renovated rooms on two levels. On the first floor, you will find a cozy living room with a sofa bed, high-definition digital and satellite TV, a table, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator, kettle, and sink to ensure simple independence. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and bidet. The balconies are furnished with chairs and sun loungers to enjoy a breathtaking view in total relaxation.

Our cuisine is based on respect and attention towards raw materials. In our menu, you will find traditional dishes from the entire Veneto region and beyond, with delicious fresh fish from the lagoon, meat from the butcher shops in the surrounding hills, eggs from a small farm located a few kilometers from the village of Fornesighe, mountain cheeses, and vegetables grown in our garden and by small local producers.
Everything we offer is fresh and homemade, including bread, pasta, jams, and liqueurs.
Our selection of wines ranges from classic bottles from the Triveneto region to a wide choice of natural wines, which are made with minimal human intervention. Fermentation occurs thanks to the naturally occurring yeasts on the grape skins, making the wine highly digestible and made with the substances that nature provides.
You can enjoy all of this in the intimate atmosphere of our establishment, next to the fireplace, or on the terrace, with a magnificent view of the Dolomites.

Jasmeen and Giuseppe are the dynamic managers of Locanda Nona Giò, which opened in June 2023. Their journey together begins in Copenhagen, where Giuseppe honed his skills as a chef and Jasmeen as a pastry chef, specializing in the art of natural leavening with sourdough. After a period full of experiences abroad, the couple returned to Italy, bringing with them a fresh and innovative culinary vision. The picturesque village of Fornesighe is located in the charming Val di Zoldo, an untouched oasis nestled among the majestic Dolomites in the province of Belluno. Here, between Mount Pelmo and Civetta, you will undoubtedly be captivated by the charm and beauty of the surrounding nature. You will be welcomed into a recently restored structure that respects the valley's tradition, offering you the utmost comfort.

Just an hour's drive away, you can visit the renowned Cortina d'Ampezzo, while the Giau Pass is only an hour away.
