Nestled in a charming ancient village, our Country House provides a unique experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Accessible only on foot via a delightful 15-minute walk, the arrival offers an enchanting atmosphere, ideal for a romantic weekend or for those who enjoy alternative mountain sports. In winter, with deep snow, the trail requires the use of snowshoes, making the experience even more captivating.
The surrounding area is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. In winter, the paths provide wonderful opportunities for snowshoeing and ski mountaineering, while in summer, they transform into perfect routes for mountain biking and hiking. Our location on the Great Traversata delle Alpi (GTA) trail adds a special touch for trekking enthusiasts, along a path that stretches from the Swiss border to Ventimiglia.
After a day of adventures, you can unwind and end the evening with a friendly dinner alongside other guests, savoring our homemade cuisine, made with genuine and traditional flavors. A stay at our Country House is a journey into authenticity, amidst nature, tranquility, and warmth.

We offer a fixed menu consisting of 4 or 5 courses, taking into consideration any requests from our guests.

We are Anja and Valter. For many seasons, we have managed a well-known chalet that has been a popular destination for hikers and skiers. We look forward to welcoming you to our new Country House, located right on the GTA trail.

Limonetto, a charming mountain village located on the Italian side of the Colle di Tenda, invites you to explore the ancient Roman Road. This captivating spot is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, including those who enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding, thanks to its extensive network of historic military paths that stretch all the way to the beautiful Ligurian Riviera, along the border with France. Additionally, Limonetto is positioned along the GTA trails, Via Alpina, and GR52a, making it an ideal starting point for discovering the wild nature and breathtaking views that define this region.
In the winter season, our village transforms into a true haven for snowshoeing and ski mountaineering enthusiasts, as the nearby Tetti Matlas is away from crowded ski slopes. The ski lifts are easily accessible by car from the parking area located just below the village, only a 15-minute walk from Patatouc.
