B&B Zasa

Our BeB is located in Abruzzo and, more precisely in Orsogna, a small hill town in the province of Chieti. Our location is strategic because it is 18 km from the Adriatic coast and 12 km from the Maiella National Park (one of the 10 world geoparks). The coast has both sandy beaches to the north (from Francavilla (28 km from the BEB) to the Riccio di Ortona beach (19 km from the Beb) and Spiaggia dei Saraceni (South Ortona 18 km from the BeB) and pebbly beaches (San Vito Marina, km. 20, Fossacesia, Km. 26) and, continuing towards the south both sandy and pebbly. Along the Theatine coast there are ancient fishing machines called trabocchi which give their name to the coast (costa dei trabocchi) and to the homonymous cycle-pedestrian path that runs alongside the sea from Ortona to Vasto. The Maiella (seat of the homonymous park) is the second highest Apennine peak in Italy and the one with the largest surface area above 2000 meters above sea level. The mountain, full of history since the Bronze Age, offers any type of itinerary both through paths of varying difficulty that still allow you to reach the summit of Mount Amaro at over 2700 meters without ropes and / or via ferratas. and both routes for rock climbers and climbers. Here nature is sweet in the wide meadows at high altitude or in the dense woods or wild as in the narrow valleys carved by the impetuous streams that flow towards the valley. And .. if that's not enough, a few kilometers away you can visit villages (Guardiagrele, Lanciano, Crecchio, Ortona) rich in history or visit important museums both in Chieti and Pescara
