At Zizzihome, you will discover two welcoming and unique spaces designed to provide you with freedom and comfort during your stay. I prefer not to simply call them rooms, as each is crafted to evoke a sense of space, liberty, and breathability, far removed from the feeling of being confined within four walls.
The Multicolor Space is a lively and energetic environment, enriched with cheerful colors. Located on the raised ground floor, it features a private entrance that ensures complete independence. The Jonathan Space, inspired by the book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull," is situated on the first floor and offers a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. Accessed through the kitchen/breakfast area, I assure you this does not compromise your privacy.
Both spaces come with a bedroom featuring a French double bed, a living room, a hallway, and a private bathroom. They are equipped with everything you need for your comfort: a refrigerator for drinks, a dedicated corner for preparing tea, coffee, or herbal infusions, and a flat-screen TV with Netflix for your relaxation moments.
I will always be available to meet any additional requests and ensure your stay is as pleasant and serene as possible. Zizzihome is where comfort meets attention to detail, offering you an authentic and tailored hospitality experience.

Welcome to Zizzihome, a residence that tells a unique story filled with love, memories, and hospitality. My name is Anna, and for over twenty years, this home has been a part of my life's journey. During the winter, I share it with my dad, while for the rest of the year, I've chosen to open it up to those looking to spend a few days in this beautiful corner of Italy.
Zizzihome is not just a house; it is a vibrant and meaningful haven. Every item has its own story, and every corner is designed to welcome you warmly. The name "Zizzi" is a tribute to my son Filippo, the love of my life, who lives in London, while "Home" embodies the very essence of what I aim to convey: a sense of family and belonging.
Although I lack experience in the hospitality industry, I follow my instincts and my heart, with a desire to make every stay a simple, genuine, and enjoyable experience. I will do my utmost to meet your needs and help you feel at home. All I ask is for mutual respect for this beloved dwelling and what it stands for.

The house is situated in a perfect location for visitors. It can be easily reached on foot in just three minutes from the Orta-Miasino train station. The historic center of Orta, with its charming streets, is only a 20-minute walk away (1.8 km), while the equipped beach and the "Luci sul Lago" restaurant/pizzeria are just 13 minutes away. Additionally, "Villa Crespi," a luxury hotel renowned for its talented chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, is just a few minutes away. The area also features the "Il Cantuccio" brewery/pub and the "Vecchia Stazione" bar/trattoria, both within a short distance.
For nature enthusiasts, Legro serves as a starting point for several trails that wind through enchanting woods, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The nearest highway exits are Arona (coming from Milan) and Borgomanero (from Genoa/Voltri Sempione). Interestingly, Legro is part of the “Painted Villages,” a national circuit celebrating local art and culture. Here, you will find an outdoor art gallery dedicated to films shot along the shores of the lake and in Piedmont. My home also features a piece inspired by the German television film “Jacob und Adele,” directed by Hans-Jurgen Togel. Furthermore, it is adorned with a frame that includes a film reel and the faces of Piero Chiara, Gianni Rodari, Mario Saldati, and Augusto Mazzetti, who were historical enthusiasts of this beautiful location.
