La Cervetta
Guesthouse in Mantova in the city center
Welcome to La Cervetta, a beautiful residence located in the historic district of San Martino, in the heart of Mantua's old town. If you're looking for a bed and breakfast in Mantua, La Cervetta is the ideal solution for you: a comfortable accommodation, tastefully furnished and with an independent entrance.
La Cervetta is an ancient Gonzaga enterprise from the medieval period. Its name comes from the animal that represents it: the deer, a symbol of vigilance and protection against dangers. This animal has been depicted by great artists such as Andrea Mantegna in the famous Camera Picta of Palazzo Ducale, as a warning for a behavior worthy of a prince.
The La Cervetta residence is located in the medieval district of San Martino, in one of the buildings annexed to the eighteenth-century Palazzo Sordi. This central location guarantees our guests the possibility of comfortably visiting the city, but at the same time enjoying absolute tranquility and silence. The independent entrance is located on a characteristic medieval pedestrian passage called Vicolo Corridore.
La Cervetta has been carefully restored using original materials to recreate an elegant and antique-flavored environment. The furnishings, curated in every detail, offer guests a refined atmosphere of charm. The living area, the equipped kitchen, the large walk-in closet, the well-equipped bathroom, and the autonomous air conditioning are just some of the services that will make your stay comfortable and pleasant.
